Tonight I was saging in the hot tub at my apartment complex. I had opened a 5 set(3 male 2 female) neged the taget about her age, and she resonded by teasing me about my beard. I got the last word in, she was laughing, "not a terrible start" I thought. Before I opened that set I had been talking to others in the hot tub(3 afcs) After my neg they followed my example and kept giving the target's whole group a hard time about how they were too young( in a very uncreative way) and scared them off pretty quick. I have a fairly alpha personality so I understand why they followed my example.

My question is, has anyone experienced something similar and if so how did you deal with it? Or any advice?
(I understand the hot tub environment is unique)

I have to deal with AFC's all the time man. It sucks, they usually see me do something, and try to copy it but it just comes off as creepy because they have no attraction built up already.
I usually call out the situation if needed. They'll probably call you a cock block or whatever but who cares, you can either be some random dudes friend or get the girl. I rather get the girl.

Say something like "Damn we're still talking about age here?" or "yeah totally!" in a super sarcastic way as if you are picking fun at the dude for saying something so stupid. They'll get the point and then just change the topic. Dudes tend to focus on logic and facts, so stimulate their mathematical minds and get them talking about logic. It makes them seem uninteresting and then you start talking about more emotional based topics, makes you seem interesting. They won't get what is going on and you look like a stud and look like the funstigator.
