Hey guys, I am writing this post under the influence of the typical question I get from my friends after they see me talking to a girl in the club: "Did you get her number?".

A few days ago I did a club approach on a target that was partying with some friends. She was very friendly and attraction was obvious, but little chances to take things further on the spot, as she was working the next day from 8 A.M. and had to catch some hours of sleep. When she told me where she works, at a drugstore, I told her "Great, I will drop by tomorrow morning with a strong cup of coffee, you can prepare an Alka-Seltzer for my hangover headache".

When I showed up the next day, coffee in hand, she was all smiles. I didn't linger, stayed for about 15 minutes then ejected under the pretext that I was having lunch at my parents' house. I still didn't ask for the number, to keep the mystery going. Told her "We should grab a glass of wine one of these days... I'll message you on Facebook". She asked "Do you know my Facebook account?" and I replied "I'll find it". Half an hour later, I messaged her on Facebook (easy job, I had found some pictures of her at the club where she was tagged) giving her directions to this wine bar and setting the Day 2 for the next evening... she accepted and Day 2 went ahead as planned...

Pros of using such techniques:

- being different than the other 99% of the guys that go around asking for phone numbers
- showing creativity and resourcefulness
- showing confidence that you will not be stood up
