So here's the deal, I'm a United States Marine in Afghanistan and I will be returning home shortly. I've known this girl, we'll call her HB8, for a little while and I've been gaming her pretty well while I've been gone. Not talking to her too much, but still maintaining a good state of flirting. She's frequently said she feels like she's living the movie dear john or whatever lol. Anyways, she's already set up for us to go out to eat at boston market for dinner the day I get back (this is kind of a re-living of a previous meetup I had with her and this other girl I banged which is her friend, but she doesnt know that lmao). So I'm thinking of a better idea. I wanna go along with this and when I get back and actually make official plans, I want to go with this:

(after setting up a time and all that jazz)

me: I've got a better idea. If you promise not to get all serious on me and can act like an adult, maybe I'll throw on my blues and we can go somewhere that doesn't serve fast food

HB8: (insert overly dramatic excitement here) Omg yayy, yes, blah blah blah

me: Don't get your hopes up, where not going to some fancy high end place, but dress in something besides shorts and a teeshirt, can't be seen walking around with some bum

I have a good knowledge of seduction and some experience (banged three chicks in a week on pre deployment leave using the skills I learned from books) and I will still be running normal game on the date, NEGS and Kino as usual (not too much because I still have to act professional in uniform) and she will not find out the location until we get there (not something really nice but somewhere where I can actually be seen wearing blues)

I'm normally strictly against dinner with girls but I feel this is slightly a different situation and this is a personal desire as I've always wanted to do this and considering the circumstances I thought this would be a perfect opportunity.

So what I'm asking is your opinions on this whole thing, like is it solid or do you think this would be seen as trying to impress her, which I don't want to come off like, its supposed to be a treat for to be seen with a Marine in his blues because we all know how much women love attention . And also the way I'm asking her, good or no good? Suggestions welcome.

I'm not familiar with the etiquette of dining in military attire in a civilian context etc so wont comment on that specifically.

But if taking a girl out for dinner while you're in Uniform is a big time life goal for you then I'd wait for the 'right' girl, if that makes sense.

Lol nah it's not like that, I'm not trying to have this super romantic date or anything. I'm just trying to use the blues to my advantage, and I can't go to a bar in them. Its a pretty valuable tool, I just want to make sure I'm using it correctly. As for military etiquette, I can still act normal like I would if I was in civillian attire, I just have to be a gentleman and hold the door, shit like that. Plus I cant show any public displays of affection, and when she walks with me she cant hold my hand or I cant put my arm around her, she'd have to take my arm. I can still makeout in them as long as I'm not in public

Ok if it's more for her than you then the only thing you really need to think of is if it will likely work or not with this girl...and if it's not a sentimental thing to you then there's really nothing to lose by trying?
