I'm going to need some help. Been talking to this girl for a few weeks, hung out with her at a part two weekends ago, we ended up going upstairs. Day after went fine, and same thing afterwards. THEN I fucked up big time, misread some signals and started to get some long text messages on her, asking her about the hook up. I know, big time mistake, saw her this past weekend, asks me for a ride home, and probably could have pulled a move had other people not been in the car. Got drunk afterwards and went overboard on drunk texting, she said our thing was nothing serious, but that we see each other on the weekends now so we'll see. I've cooled off, still say hi to her when I see her in school. Do I put her on ice or patiently try and restart things because I still make her laugh with some of my texts. Any help is appreciated.

I wouldn't freeze her out or even reduce the amount you text her a lot (maybe just make her wait every so often) as she might think this is because of her comment... this shows you are phased by it and lowers your value. Just keep the texts flirty but very light hearted. As you said, your texts make her laugh so keep up with those sofg of texts.
