A girl that I've been dating a few times suddenly restricted me on Facebook. It's now three weeks since we met (I live in another town), and I haven't talked to her since.

I'm unsure how to interpret this and how (if at all) to respond. Should I just contact her without mentioning it? Unfriend her and move on?

Is this a "girly" way of telling me that she's not interested any more, or does she simply not want me to be a regular Facebook friend?

In general, is it a bad idea to add girls that you're dating on Facebook?

Dude, you haven't talked to her since you've seen her (3 weeks)...it's time to move on! Get over her and move on to someone else!

I don't add hook-ups on facebook, only actual friends. I might be a bit paranoid, but I'm always afraid to fall on that stalker who will one day post something bad on my wall, like out of jealousy.

Anyhow, as JSmooth said, if you haven't talked to her in three (long) weeks, move on! And next time, top that "move on" limit to five days, and start looking out at other girls on the third day.

From what I've understood she's had a difficult time recently because of something that happened in her life, and this is why she couldn't meet last time (three weeks ago). She was living with her family for a few days after it happened, but she told me that she expected to be "good to go" again pretty soon. I told her to feel free to contact me when she felt like, but she still hasn't done so.

Since she was not just an ordinary date and we have some common interests, I will try and contact her one last time. Is this an AFC message?

"Hi! Since I'm not hearing anything from you, I've roughly drawn my conclusions, and I won't keep "nagging" at you if you don't want me to ;) Anyway, have a nice weekend!"
