| I went out drinking w/ a pretty large group on Friday. My married friend saw this girl that he recognized from lunch early that day, and asked her if she was at cafe whatever? She said "Yeah, I was having lunch w/ my friend". Which he interpreted as she was trying to get f'ed. He then said to her "you should meet my friend"
At this point my friend introduced us, we wound up working at the same campus, and I just said the whole "we should keep in touch" so I got her number and texted her my e-mail address, nothing else.
the following morning I woke up very dehydrated drank some water, and went back to sleep. I woke up around one, looked at my phone to retrace the night. And, she texted me that afternoon around 12 saying "hey sam, it was good meeting you last night. we'll have to grab lunch soon:)
this is where I think I kinda f'ed up. to my defense my phone is ghetto and has a mind of it's own, and I was mushed brained from the night before.
I texted her "hey it was nice meeting you too, yeah we should i'm" - then my phone sent the text randomly
so i texted her again right after and said something "busy until end of or next"
which was just a stupid typo. she never wrote anything back nor did I.
Then I was catering a charity event today for the school, and I ran into her when I was with two of the other girls I work with. All I said was "hey sue, these are my friends introduced the girls, just wanted to say hi looked at my watch and said I had to get going" she said "yeah i'm sure we'll run into each other again"
I really don't know what to do now, besides play it really cool. Can anybody give some advice as to how to approach her, if I haven't heard from her in a few days regarding meeting up for lunch?
