I am a juggler, and I recently started busking on the streets. I noticed a common pattern, this happens about 3 times per day and I don't know how to handle it:

Two girls walk by, and I get their attention. Most likely they say something about me and I jump on to start the conversation.
Usually, there is one girl who starts the conversation, and so far all of the times that is the one I would be interested in. Of course what happens is that the second girl is smiling, nodding her head and at some point pushing her friend that it is time to leave again. It is really hard to involve her into the conversation, at first because she is not interested in talking, at second because I am not interested in her.

How would you deal this situation? I have read that it is common practice to approach the secondary girl instead of the target, but what if you can't avoid having an active conversation with the target from on the start?

You can have an active conversation with the Target but involve the other girl in it as well. If she is bored she will naturally want to leave. Anyone would. If you can't bring her into it try to# close as fast as possible to keep it up at a later time.

easiest way to deal with a bored friend, is a good wingman. Or when talking to your target, talk to her friend aswell, ask her a question or two and if she is boring as hell, pretend to be interested.
