A few days ago I was on Facebook and I noticed this HB9 who goes to the same university as me and has about 50 mutual friends so I added her. Today I messaged her with a good not creepy opener and this what the conversation looks like so far:

Me: by the way, do you go to [local high school] or [local college]?

Her: [local college]. I dont go to [local high school] anymore.

Me: Oh lol i couldn't tell cause you had class of 2013 on both of them. You taking classes at altamonte or sanford?

Her: Lol, I'm taking em at Sanford.

Me: Same here. Maybe i'll see you around

It's been hours since she's not responded (I can tell she's been online since then) and I want to message her back but don't want to come off as desperate. Any ideas what I should say?

What you did was cut off the convo. You had nothing better to say so you said, Cool maybe I'll see you around. I think you pretty much DLV'd yourself... its ok move on.
