Look, most men have physical dominance over most women. I don't need to go around slapping women in the face in order to reinforce that to myself, or to show that "I'm the one wearing the pants."

Slapping in the face = "OH please tell me I'm cool. Tell me I'm a badass so I can get into state and get a handjob from you later."

Why don't you just sit down and think for yourself about the validity of slapping, instead of backward rationalizing or just blindly trusting the credibility of "a pickup guru". Even if you come to the conclusion that slapping is ok and a good tactic, you still have to acknowledge that its completely unnecessary.

"The slap" is by no means a necessity, clearly. It's just another weapon in your arsenal for when the conditions are right. You wouldn't use a sniper at close range, for instance.

MStrangelove is right, actually. Everyone who has used the argument of "OMG, YOU'RE HITTING A GIRLL" or something that pertains or surmounts to that are on the wrong trail. It's playful kino, and no one's going to beat anyone up over it. I am in England, but I am of Asian descent and so I am familiar with a range of cultures. There is absolutely no real fighting involved, from amogs/friends/her/you/anyone, unless you accidentally knock her out, haha.

As this thread has been so popular, I do actually want to video myself using this technique in the field, I feel you guys have earned this. I will be honest though, I have to pay for my car insurance first so it'll be about a month before I can afford a decent hard drive camcorder. I have also had quite a few requests for in-field footage so I'll do those too. But watch this space, I'll let you guys know when I've got the vids.

I am not saying it is necessary, but neither is ANY routine or move. Attractiveness is all inner game, but in order to develop inner game, some people might need to use outer game tricks that give instant gratification. And I support them in this. If this is how they feel they should improve their game, then let them do as they choose. I don't know how this became a mini-bitchfight between us, seeing as my posts made no personal attack on you, and if you saw them as such, then rest assured I do not intentionally attack anyone's credibility unless I think that it will help them to see another POV in the long run or I think that they have a moral code with crumbling foundations.
Haha, very fair question. I have field-tested it though, before I even thought of it as part of PU. And I didn't really realize it then, but it had the outcome that Raf described. I understand where the OP is coming from. But I honestly don't see how it can be used at "any stage" of PU. Maybe after you've built some comfort, etc.

i think a lot of people are over thinking this, and ofcourse respect to everyone elses opinions, just think you can modify this as much as you like to your own personal needs, obviously do it on a chick you think itll work on till you think you can advance it, i usually brush shoulders, poke, push, feel the hair and give a out cuz i used to have long nice hair, and this slap sounds like i can add it to what i do,
