so i have followed game for a few years now, i was never fully committed to it, i wouldn't go out every day gaming everyone i see etc, etc. im more of a part timer and do it for a bit of fun in clubs or bars or read the odd book here and there.

one thing i have noticed (not just while gaming but throughout my whole life) is that when i don't actively try to game women or if i see them as a friend they become attracted to me and start investing more (i already knew this from reading up about pua as im sure most people already do) my sticking point is when i start showing an interest back.

for example,

ive moved back home and started talking to my best friend(bob) alot more. his work colleague(stacy) would come out alot with us after work as we would chill and have a smoke and just talk shit to each other. I seen her only as a friend at first because bob was trying to game her (he fucked up and now hes friendzoned) anyway, stacy started showing an interest towards me when we were out and mentioned to my brothers fiance that she likes me. i originally seen her as a friend because she wasnt really my type (shes a solid HB9 which is definitely my type ) but she comes off as a high maintenance gold digger to me because all her ex's would wine and dine her and have the money to do so (unlike me). that didnt really phase me tho because, yes money helps move things along a bit more smoothly but she was still showing interest.

the thing is, the second i started to show an interest back she backs off, then later on in the night she trys to wingman me. yes this isnt a bad thing (i think) because she is a very good wing and i get more social proof etc

but i would like to know what im doing/not doing that made her change her mind so fast and if there is a way to stop that happening in the future.

Stop looking for indicators of interest from the girl before you’ll talk to her or move forward. That's letting her lead.

Be a leader. Stop looking for permission to do anything with the girl. As the saying goes, sometimes it's better to seek forgiveness, than to seek permission.

You are being too approval seeking, you’re being conversational but not physical. Have you even touched her shoulder? the small of her back? Her hand?

She's not attracted to money (per-say) She is likely more attracted to maturity and experience and status.

But what I can tell you is she isn't going to blatantly offer to suck your dick in the toilet of the after work pub.

The leadership roll is all up to you.

Here is my suggest scenario;

Your out, seated at a table having a drink. Turn to face her. Take her pale little hand. Look her in the eye.

While you are doing this, THINK in your mind all the little dirty thing you'd be doing to her just then, and say.....

"I once was with this amazing girl that looked a lot like you do, except she had theses deep green eyes, the 1st night we met, we had wild passionate sex all night long. (Reminisce pause) . She was great!".

Look away. Change the subject. Order a beer. Otherwise pretend that moment never happened.
