Posts: 184 | | I finally summoned up the courage to ask a girl in my class for her phone number today since it was the last day. I said we should go out sometime and she said okay. Well I've never been on a date before and I've only talked two her twice briefly. I know she likes hikes, and I do too. Idk, what should I do? I just got her number a few hours ago.

Posts: 2817 | | I'd try to call her and later that night and strike up a friendly conversation about grades or school or something. Then transition it into hiking and things like that. However, be aware that some girls may not trust you enough to go hiking with you on a first date, so be leery of that. Maybe mention that it would be cool if you two went out and hiked "sometime", but I'd try to setup something else as a first date.
Just don't wait too long or that number will be worthless.
