How would you deal with this situation.

Been texting this chick back and forth, she's hard work even when meeting in person although there does seem to be some interest from her as otherwise I would get no response at all. I am thinking that she is probably more work than she is worth but she has a lot of hot friends so I really want to get in to her social circle more than bang her herself.

I was trying to engineer a meet up tonight on on new years but she is kinda fobbed me off a bit. How should I respond to this in a way that says I'm not really bothered but also salvage the situation in terms of her being friend zoned by me?

The latest conversation went like this:

Me: awright cheery, How's it going?

Her: Haha yeah going ok ta, cheerier than the last time you saw me [;)] How's you? x

Me: Haha glad to hear it, Storm was pants though eh. I'm good, dunno what to be up to with ma time off. What you doing for hogmanay?

Her: Yeah I just wasn't drunk enough for Storm [:)] Not a lot planned for Hogmanay this year, going for a meal then a few drinks. What's your plans?


This is probably where I fucked it up:

Me: We'll just need to make sure your well steaming next time eh [;)] Not a lot planned either tbh, got invited to a couple of house parties, neither of which are particularly appealing lol

No replay from her for two days so I said :

Me: What! no reply?

She comes back with:

Her: Aw sorry, I flick on an off this a lot cause it's on my phone but never on much to blether or that nowadays. Have a good new year when it comes, hope u have fun at your party lol or whatever your up to [:)] Still no exciting plans either, quite happy to just go for a meal and few drinks with a couple pals.

So as you can see kinda fobbed off
