Just wanted to get your opinion on a girl i'm interested in.
We've worked together for a couple of years, been really flirty and hooked up a couple times (just make outs) after drinking at xmas parties etc.
We get along heaps well, theres plenty of attraction and some pretty crazy sexual tension. Trouble is, she ALWAYS flakes ANY possible meetings (and I've stopped suggesting meetings) outside work. I called her on it while we were drinking once, and she says she was hurt really badly by an ex boyfriend who was dating two girls at once, so I guess she has some trust and self esteem issues. She says that any suggestion of a meeting outside work flags something in her that tells her to cancel/ignore etc.
We go through periods of flirting in person and via text, and then nothing at all (usually because I get annoyed and stop texting her), and then she tells me she misses me and it all starts again. It's at the point where people at work think that we are an item.
The last time we made out was a couple of weeks ago and (while very intoxicated) she told me that she stalks my facebook, that she starts work early so that we can spend a bit more time together, that she gets crazy jealous when she finds out that I go out with other girls, but also that she feels like she cant give me what i want (a relationship i guess?)
I guess my question is, knowing that she is a flake, and that I should probably steer clear, I really like her and want more. How can I escalate the relationship?
I didnt mention that I am leaving my job in a couple months so there will probably be NO interaction after that.
