I was a photographer in a club a few weeks ago. And opening was easy. I found the hotties and was like can i take ur picture. and actually on the dance floor a 10! and her 7 friend opened me, but i didnt know where to take it from there. i mean the other photographer said to keep taking pictures and let them feel comfortable and they will eventually open up in front of the camera, but do any of you guys have ideas as to where i can take it? i was just taking pictures and handing out cards. very cold but i didnt know what to do.

Would've been good to tease them a bit maybe, like take a picture and be like "c'mon you can do better than that" or something. Try to be humorous about the photography, be more than a dude taking their pictures.

Since this was in a club you could've built some rapport with them with the pictures and ask one of 'em to snap a few shots of you with her friend (or whatever) and do some funny poses or something...that could be a way of initiating kino, more teasing.

Fuck ok i was photographer again tonight, but when i ask them to get their picture, i dont know what to do after. its kind of awkward. They kinda just are say ok and go back to their friends. maybe its the 18+ crowd. idk. but some groups i had fun with and got to know them, but it was basically hit or miss. i was late too so i had to rush through people to make my quota. maybe next time i'll do better. FUCK! but then this one girl was like touching me and i asked her friend if she was hitting on me and she got mad. i was like wtf. they were hot too. oh well. i dont have approach anxiety i just dont know how to flow from taking their picture to getting to know them. I guess its mainly the ones that like to get their picture taken a lot and over and over again that i end up talking to. sorry for the rant format. hehe
