Got this girl who's in my class's number. Started texting her and her responses are usually all real nice and flirty. Oftentimes though, she'll take hours to text back. But when she does text back it still has that interested and flirty tone.
example: she added me on facebook and i texted her this
"i see you added me on facebook. i'm sure you're looking up and down my page with no shame!"
then 3 hours later she texts back
"i actually just finished doing that right now haha"
Is she just a busy girl or is she just texting me back to be nice? What do you guys think

here's another text i got from her yesterday after i told her i like to cook (she does as well) and that i post food i make on facebook
"Wow really? Its hard to find guys who like to cook haha. Add me on facebook so I can see that album "

Yes that was an IOI. I think girls don't text back just to be nice. If they're not interested they simply ignore you message. They also ignore your message sometimes even when they are interested.

Girls and text messages ... these are the biggest mystery for me. To my opinion you can even text message when you're bussy. Girls do it too, all the time.
Ever been on a (even good) date with a girl, or just hanged out with a good female friend or whatever? Ever observed girls then? Even while dating or hanging around, they can't help but texting. In class at high school and college, girls text message all the time. I think it's bullshit they wait 3 hours to text message guys.

That's why I prefer calling rather than text messaging. I don't text alot anymore with girls.

The way i see it is she's interested in you... however she doesnt sound like she's head over heals for you... what i usually do when a girl does this to me is i'll start doing what she does to me... for example...
the other night i got this little cuties number and long story short i messaged her the next day and she replied very quickly... then i replied to that and i didnt get a message back from her until like 10 o clock at night when she said she just finished work and was going to bed... so i thought fuck you... and i just didnt even reply to her for like a week and then i get a message yesturday asking what i was doing at night lol... i ended up F-closing her last night but yeh... try turn her game (if it is a game...maybe she really is just busy) and yeh see how that turns out... but you should have many women on the go anyway so dont put all your eggs in one basket

When texting, never reply back instantly.

Why? Girls love suspense, especially through waiting for a text message from a guy they are interested in. Post above has it about right - you text her, she texts you, you text her in the same day ... She makes you wait until late that same night/next day ... You make her wait the same - or double.

This is generaly good advice. Very familiar story!

There was also this girl, I tried to call her on a sunday, but she didn't pick up the phone. She didn't reply or answer back. Next day I saw her at college and she asked me why I called her. I give some absurd answer letting her know that it wasn't to settle a date. Tuesday a mate of mine and I wanted to meet her, so called her again. Again she didn't pick up. I was like ok it's your problem then. I didn't try to call back or anything and thursday, I got a text message saying if I wanted to come over to her appartement .

I have to admit that nothing realy happened that night because I wasn't realy sure because of some stupid issues of her, but just to give you an idea .

Yeah, I get a feeling she is indeed interested, but not head over heels. I also haven't been texting back instantly. We've had some good text conversations before and I've always waited at least the amount of time she took to reply.
We see each other mon-thurs, though and this week we texted everyday and today is friday so I think I'm just going to not talk to her until sunday night where I'll try and get a conversation going and invite her to join me while I study after class.
The only thing I'm worried about is that we've texted 5 days and a row and an abrupt stop might take me off her mind. Or maybe it'll do the opposite, I'm not sure haha.
