I was in this student clubs area. It is the first meeting. So I walked up to this group of 2 girls who is talking with this guy.

I go like what's up, how you know each other, where you are from.etc...oh I know this person too! You are from there? Me too! etc

I guess I am building comfort too soon? But when I leave, I say Ok I am going now, nice meeting you guys. I didnt get much attention from one of the girls, she just kepting talking to this once guy.

I am pretty sure the guy doesn't know the game. He is just some average looking guy, although the girls arent very attractive either...

Anyway, my question is, how would I get the girls' attention to be on me?

I dont know if it would be good to use openers and dhv here because there are a lot of people around. How should I have opened, since we are kind of in the same group of friends since we are at the same club?
