Closing with girls who are "friends"

Here is a little bit of background info on the situation...

I am a student, and regularly hang out with a circle of friends. There is a girl that I am friends with, but not really close with. She usually doesn't hang out with the same friends, but has been spending a lot more time with us during the summer.

I am curious as to how to go about gaming this girl. I can tell that the wrong moves will most certainly lead to "lets just be friends". Luckily, I don't have any history with her other friends, so I have a clean slate with regards to that.

Any advice is appreciated.
