Ok so I usually go out with one of my best friends which is a girl. I have noticed that girls see her (she is HOOOOTTTTT) and instantly think WOW that guy must be special. Anyways, so I was out with her last night and when I was at the bar I started talking to this amazingly cute girl and had just the best reaction from her. She was Kino'ing me a lot. I knew I should have got her number but I didnt want to seem too needy right away so after about 5 minutes of talking I pulled her close to me, held one hand over her opposite ear and told her that I was going to find my friends and she should come find me later... then I smiled and walked away. Well I meet back up with my friend who I am talking to and she and her friend are headed my way all excited and giggly about what just happened then see me with her and with a shocked look on her face she storms away. Well I saw her again later and before I could even say anything she waved and walked a way with a sour face. Grrrrrr.... what the heck do I do here. The rest of the night went really well and I got some numbers but THIS girl was the best by far that I ALMOST picked up (she was girlfriend material). I mean I am really sad about this one and I dont want this to happen again. Any ideas?

that girl probably thought that your friend was your girlfriend. its usually not a good idea to wing with a person of the opposite sex because of this problem.

to 100% avoid this go out with a group or at least one other person.

Yout friend wasn't the problem.

She was REALLY into you - and you blew her off and went back to your friend. It was YOU who messed up here.

Also, you knew the girl for 5 minutes. You don't know if she's girlfriend material or not. In fact, you barely know anything at all about her.

Next time when you pull a girl in like you did - KISS HER. Make out with her. Do SOMETHING.

Don't just walk away and leave her. That's the worst thing you can do. It's worse than rejection.
