I am a writer so I am trying to figure out what sort of stories or jokes that I can prepare and use for picking up women. I think this would be a good angle for me because I could easily get to the point of telling a story as soon as I make her ask me what it is I do. I am very interested to find links between storytelling craft and PUA techniques.

I would love to get some ideas of what sort of components such stories should have. What are the dangers and advantages of using stories? What is the appropriate length? Are punchlines better than thoughtprovoking anectdotes? Specific field tested stories are particularly welcome.

That seems like a very good routine. I'll try it out as soon as possible. But you are right that it's not a story. The thing about stories, i think, is that they seem like a simple way to tick a lot of boxes simultaneously. They could have some sexual content which would put her in the right mood and give her assosiations to feed of. At the same time you can demonstrate values, skills and humor without showing off. And you have frame control. I guess I'm just looking for a reportoir of stories that can tick all those boxes.
