didn't call back...what would you have done?

I had a situation a few months ago I think I could have handled better. this girl I know was going to come through from out of state and spend the night at my place...she said she'd call me the next day and let me know when it would be. she didn't. a few days later I sent a simple 'where'd you go' txt message, but still no reply. what would you guys have done?
