| Greetings gentlemen,
New to the boards. Thought I'd throw out a couple ideas. I like the referencing of accidently alienating her friends, so they should come along as well. Might be a good play. In terms of running out of things to say after 15 minutes, we all get there sometimes. I have about 3 or 4 of the funniest stories people have ever heard ready to go at all moments. It could have been something from 4 years ago, but I pretend like it just happened yesterday. The key is to smoothly segue into it. Let it seem like it just "evolved" out of the conversation. And make sure every story you tell is a DHV. If you want to borrow one of mine, you're more than welcome, just let me know. "Practice telling stories in a charismatic capacity" is my concept. In the freakin mirror in your bathroom. I think it psychologically plays on our childhood bedtime story experiences. "Read it one more time Dad! Just one more time!"
Now, in regards to how to proceed with HB9, can you remember one of the negs you gave her, if any? A joke you shared, or an embarrassing thing that happened to anyone? I always, when making contact again, back-reference something like this, in the attempt to remind her of how she felt that day, the connection you had, and make her laugh immediately. Ex: I borrowed a piece of gum from my target a week ago, telling her my breath was terrible. She laughed. When I called 3 days later, the message I left was this:
"Hey _____, this is that really charming, good looking guy you met at the bar on Tuesday with the really bad breath. I was wondering if you wanted to go out toothbrush shopping with me tomorrow? I'm thinking medium bristle, Oral B, Ocean Blue color. But I need your help."
I don't know. Just an idea. Good luck chief. Thanks for reading guys.
