OK so I'm texting this girl and would like to check if my next planned text sounds good.

CONTEXT
She's half Italian and half Brazilian, looks like the girl next door with a gorgeous smile but also has a very sexy and confident demenour. I'd say at least a HB8.5.

I number closed her at a bar a few weeks ago after the reality TV show opener, an ESP game, flirting and some pretty smooth kino. I have since swapped some flirty texts with her, bumped into her again randomly, and also met up with her and some of her mates.

This last occasion started with a very tactile hello. Then apart from the occasional neg I paid her very little attention to her. I instead concentrated on winning her mates over which I did pretty successfully. Towards the end of the night we started flirting again. I did the cologne routine and she played along even getting me to smell her neck back. It was going well so I suggested another ESP game but she checked herself and told me it would have to wait because she was in the process of breaking up with her boyfriend. He's leaving the UK. I remained calm and was sympathetic as she explained the situation and didn't press any further.

Later on a song came on that she was quick to complain about. I instantly got up and danced to with a big smile on my face. Guess what - she got up and danced with me and even up against me. When we were on the way home one of the other guys was trying to impress her but I just sat back and talked to her mate. As I got off the tube she said bye but gave me serious eye contact. Before I got through my front door she'd already text me to say good luck in China where I was going for two weeks. I got back on Friday and sent her a text today at lunchtime

So essentially she's interested but still doesn't know that much about me.

Hey who are you? hi mate yeah good to hear your back did not miss you much i'm sorry was i supposed 2 ? Lol i'm good studying had my exam today and i've passed so i'm happy. Catch you soon

It bothers me she uses the word mate but it could just be a s*** test. The fact she writes so much has to be a good sign right? So I'm think of replying with

Hal: Tomorrow morning?
course you weren't supposed to miss me but u obviously have Glad the exam went well. Hope u went out celebrating and had fun

or alternatively I could refer to the horror of having an exam on a Sunday.

Thoughts appreciated although I make no promises at following your advice

I'd rather tell here an interesting thing from your trip to China if I were you. A DHV one if you encounter such an episode.

"Wow, quite impressing with that exam. I have a thing from my trip worth telling ____.
Have you ever encountered something similar?"

You want to give value to her, so that would probably be a good thing to do:)

I'm stating to tell the difference between negs and insults but I'm still not sure what qualifies as a DHV, what doesn't and what just sounds like I'm trying too hard to impress.

For example which of these sound better:
My talks went really well and saw a lot of the sights too.
The great wall of China was amazing, it just went on and on
The terracota warriors were really interesting.
It was great to finally see the Ming tombs
Looking forward to telling you about my crazy moped ride is Xi'an.

I guess a text along your line of thinking could be:

I did previously used my trip to China as a DHV in a previous text and she was impressed. Treid to qualify herself with a trip to Turkey. On the other hand she didn't actually ask me about China, shouldn't I wait for her to ask me about it? Also so far she's responded well to the in your face texts. When I arrived at the train station last time I went to meet her text her "At the station. Come get me" and when she did she gave me that big slow hug with trailing arms.

Hmmm
Also I want to inviter her to the Ben and Jerry's festival next Saturday so instead of "catch up soon" I could end with "Do u like ice cream?" or "so you like ice cream right?"

I would tweak that text a bit if you are looking for a quick date.

You: Sounds like your exam went as well as my trip. However, I got even more funny stories to tell from my trip. I have to go now, but I can call you in ____.

Now, if she agrees to that, then call her and tell her one of the examples you told me here to tease her. With that I mean, tell her halfway and then quit the story by saying I have to go. What the conversation should be like in my ears:

Starting with a greeting and telling her you have to go again soon.
Build up a bit of rapport and start the story

You: *telling story halfway making sure she stays interested in what you are saying.*
You: Oh, but I have to go now.
Her: Wait, you didn't finish the story.
You: I don't have time to tell it now, but why don't you meet me ___ and I'll finish it then?

If she says ok to that, then game is on:) I hope you see were I want you to go with this tweaking. What you constantly is doing is teasing her by making her want to hear more. This means she will think about you and be more receptive to the meeting at hand.
