i got chatting to this girl at a party for our joint interest club, got her number and text her the next day as it was just a weekend event and thought i would see if she was still around, she wasnt but she made a point of saying how impressed she was with me and said i had made a lasting impression! she also said i should have joined her in her bed instead of campimg in the cold after the party, a couple of weeks later we were both at another get together and we had exchanged texts to say we would try to meet up at this event but we ended up in different bars at either end of the city and didnt so afterwards i texted her and she said she was single and would like to meet up but couldnt until next month, i said that that sounds ok and left it two weeks and threw her a text just saying hi and asked if she was still up for the date and have got no reply from 3 days ago, im very shy and not great at meeting girls, so if ive ruined my chances im happy to accept it and move on but would like to learn fron my mistakes if possible

Did you find out why she couldn't meet up until next month? It sounds like the only thing you did wrong was to make contact with her before the month was up. You should probably have at least waited that month (and a little more) to contact her. Hopefully, she will still contact you after this month is up.

I don't think you have to drop her, just drop her for now.

Also, please do your best to format your posts better. Putting things into paragraph form, and using complete sentences in VERY helpful in reading a post. I'm sure many people will see your post and not read it because it is so poorly formatted. Your post was two extremely long run-on sentences...that was your biggest mistake
