or
"bad at texting"
i think texting is used for banter and flirting. this tell me something about yourself seems too formal and much of the body language/tone is lost in a text to make a legit good response.

An obviously silly joke
For example... and I have use this exact text in the past:
"Well, I like my car and racing at the strip, I can roll my tongue into a three-leaf clover... and I can bake 30 minute brownies in 29 minutes."
Change it so it holds true to yourself, but that general format works well for me. Good luck.
