Interesting ideas btw. I suppose i'll run with this whole economical viewpoint
Quote:
Supply: if you differentiate yourself from others, you decrease the supply of YOU, by limiting the number of people out there like you... social norms and etiquette obviously place limitations, so we must conform to certain standards
The higher your percieved value, the more demanded you are. Also you are valuable primarily because there are not many others with as high a value as you have. It is the scarity of people as cool as you that make you high value, if you get what im trying to say.
Demand for you grows exponentially, Demand for you leads to increased demand in the future. Think social proof.
The two characteristics of a public good, non rivalry and non excludability. you want to ensure that your not a public good, because no one values it highly enough, remember, attraction = higher value plus a range of emotions, (credit RSD).
Therefore you want to make yourself somewhat hard to get. not in a stand offish way, but just dont latch onto every girl you see. that takes care of the exculdability.
You want people to demand you, there are many ways to be demanded, but try to demonstrate pre-selection.
Phew, heavy A-level revision going down on this post
