Ok, so I saw the best of part of the forum, and I got a quick question.
Does anyone know how to do the trick where mystery makes a straw jump out of a glass? I've googled, yahooed, everything and I can't seem to find it.

Easy as hell, watch his hands... as he moves them back, the straw rests against the glass for a moment before jumping out of the glass. He has a loop of microfine thread around one finger of each hand and as he moves them backwards, that moves the straw. Watch the video again, you'll see what I mean - try it yourself, just use a piece of normal string and you'll see how it works. You can order microfine thread from any online magic store; it even comes in elastic.
