i'm 30 & reasonably experienced PUA - met a girl 4 months ago, dating and now exclusively with her and happy with her. throughout the time together, i've always used PUA traits when necessary to keep her interested, play it cool, keep the power, keep her guessing etc. and i had done quite a good job of it, until friday. I went to her place, drank a whole bottle of wine, followed by whisky and then when she asked how i felt about her, for some crazy, inexplicable reason (ok, maybe alcohol and sex) I told her i loved her. She was shocked and obviously not ready to hear it and kind of freaked out and said she couldn't say it back yet. (we'd agreed to taking-it-slowly about 2 weeks previously.)
don't get me wrong, i do love her, but i feel like saying it was disastrous, and admittedly my pride took a beating. I tried to make a joke of it the next day, but its not the sort of thing you can just take back. so overnight i manage to go from being a guy she was always trying to impress and gain attention and affection from to being a bit of a loser!
any ideas on how i make this better (apart from cutting out my tongue!)?

rofl. I've never done this move before bro. I'd probably just go for a freeze out, let her have her space. She's pretty freaked out now, let her come back to you.

It seems like you tried talking to her about it and that didn't work. Pretty stumped on what else you could do. Would love to hear other advice.

Yeah, well i guess the issue is that she did not recipicate it. I did that with my girl after a month and so far so good, she is more over me now then ever, but I did escalate it and not just pop out with a random I love you. Personally I would jsut ignore it, not care and keep on progressing things as before, bringing it up the next day is showing it bothered you and are now insecure.

Nothing wrong with telling her, but this would raise red flags for me...first did she get you drunk to ask you? Second, now she is wondering were just saying it because you were drunk....

Also, getting too sloppy drunk, too often is DLV IMHO. A man should always be in control of his faculties. If you are unable to control yourself, or drinking, that is DLV.

I would seriously just let it lie. If she comes back, great, if not, there is a whole world full of women.
