What do you think about cheating in a relationship?

I know that it's about everybody's opinion. And my opinion is that
I can't do it if my relationship is going very well, but I can't do it even if
the relationship isn't working. If I want to do it I have to break-up with my gf,
which means that there is no cheating anymore.

But I want to hear another opinions. Recently I got a proposal from a girl that is hotter than my gf and I refused her.
Is wrong to cheat. But maybe you are thinking about winning some new experience(like that girl told me), she said "what your gf doesn't know can't hurt her", but I know it and it is enough for me. I cannot live with such a feeling of guilt.

So I want as many opinions and examples I can get!
Thanks!

My personal take. Cheating in a mongomous relationship is a very non-alpha thing to do.

obviously, alpha would be having multiple long term relationships and being honest about it.

but if your going the monogomous route, and you cheat, you've shown that while the relationship isn't exactly what you want (otherwise, no reason to cheat), your too weak/scared of being alone/whatever to end it, be single, and find what you really want. that to me (not being confident in getting what you deserve) screams BETA male...

Think about it this way:

Imagine you have to describe yourself in all honestly on a piece of paper. Are you sure "cheat" is one of the words you want to write?

If you're sure you don't want to be with your girlfriend, break up with her.

An alpha male is somebody who believes in himself, all other aspects such as confidence, indifference and self control/control of his life just drops down from his internal belief. If he chooses to be in a monogomous relationship, he chooses because he wants to be in a monogamous relationship with that lucky woman. During this relationship, he understands that he is commiting to it and thus he has to be honest throughout as he expects the equivalent from his partner.

If he feels that the relationship is breaking down then he has to take control and break it up in the greatest possible way that won't jeprodize and create any negative feelings with his ex partner. This, is alpha. Because he is acting from his self belief.

By cheating, he is undermining his self-belief and is acting from no self-control what so ever. This, isn't alpha. The curiosity controls him. Not vice versa.

Anyone else agree?

I totally agree with all of your opinions.
Cheating isn't alpha, and it is wrong.

But my gf isn't 100% sure I won't cheat because she told me that all her ex boyfriends cheated her and then broke-up.

turn it on her, mention that ALL your girlfriends did the same thing, is she comfortable being labelled a potential cheat for the same reason?

or pick some other obnoxious behaviour, like all your ex's tried to fool you into supporting them financially, or had really bad gas... or whatever.

or just call her out on her trust issues, and say "well if your not ready to trust, your not ready for an adult relationship." and make sure you walk if she calls your bluff.

Good, now you know to what she's reactive.I suggest you cheat on her right away !

How about you don't give her tons of reassurance and tell her you might start actually doing it,if she doesn't cut the bullshit ?
This tells 2 things : you don't cheat, and you are annoyed that she doesn't trust you.

I like how there's no "I've cheated before once or a few times" option but the extremes are there.

I agree with this, I've cheated a good number of times but not every time, in fact there has been just one girl who I've never cheated on.. I really liked her so that's probably why. If you cheat it's probably a sign that the relationship isn't great and you should consider leaving. Although that said slip ups do happen.

Is it beta?? Maybe, I don't really know or care to be honest. If having a wonderful night with a cracking girl when you're not really supposed to is beta then so be it, I can live with that =)

slip ups? because you just fell and rammed it into the chick accidently?

it's not beta to have a wonderful night with a cracking girl... but it's beta to have to keep in a relationship that's not working for backup while having that wonderful night.

Cheating happens when one party is not satisfied sexually by the other. Be a gentleman, but when you get into the bedroom, tear that pussy apart. She'll love you for it.

cheating occurs over more than just sexual satisfaction.

if your not meeting the needs of your partner, emotionally or sexually, they have reason to stray. yes sex might be the furthest from "feeling emotionally close to someone" but most women will trade sex to get that feeling, from someone other than their primary partner.

ok lets see, let me throw this scenario at you

I am a college student in Wilmington, NC and the girl that I may very possibly spend the rest of my life lives back in Detroit, MI. When I finish with my degree here, we are suppose to move to Chicago together so I can begin film school, that should be in about a year or so. Of course, at first I would have never thought about cheating on her cause I really do care about her, but back in December she left me. She came back but not until after I found this website and the whole idea of pick-up.

Really I don't know if I want to wait a year just to feel a woman, I mean maybe she will come see me or I'll go up there and see her, but it's a long time. Plus, she left me once, she might do it again.

It's just an idea for anyone who has ever been in my position with a long term relationship, that because of where you are in life you can't be with her.

simple. dump her, fuck around for the year, then see if things will work when your free to be together. no reason to do a long distance Relationship...
