I have from the offset set out to learn to get one night stands, alas now I think it is time to settle down a bit. Strange thing I have no idea how to begin and maintain a relationship.
I can get long term fuck buddies but I dunno seems like a monogamous relationship is a much different thing

Dude, I don't know how old you are...But maybe you are looking in the wrong places???

I think David D. had a block diagram of this in one of his books. He talks about the type of guys girls look for at different stages in their life. According to him, there were 8 main male types, there are more but these cover most of the guys out there.

Club Girls in the 20's don't want marriage and LTR, they want fun, so they are looking for fun and enthusiastic guys, with little or no future ahead of them. I believe David D. called these guys 'Adventures' or something like that.

Girls in their low to mid 30's start wanting a LTR and marriage minded, so they look for those features in guys. Like a 'Provider' type guy.

So, if you are looking to be more LTR and possibly marriage, you need to take on the 'Provider' kind of role (stable job, not financially broke, grounded personality, don't live with your mom, etc).

Also, you need to start changing your venues. Clubs are lowsy for these type of girls. Bars are better but best to start looking at 'daytime venues' (Habitat for Humanities, Sports/Recreation activities, etc.). That is where you will find them IMHO.
