so I've been talking to this girl for like a couple months now, started to fool around and started become an item. she lives in dc, i live in new york (i know this fucking retarded, your a rookie, long distance does not work, i feel you guys but I've done all that and for me, this is the right thing). so we usually, talk every night but Friday and Saturday we just didn't call/text or whatever. so on Sunday, she calls and says:

Girl: How was your weekend?
Me: Not bad, what did you end up doing?
Girl: O mann, I was up till five in the morning, so tired. should i nap?
Me: what were you doing?
Girl: O Don't worry about it.
Awkward Pause
Girl: I want to talk to you later about some stuff...
Girl: What are you doing?
Me: Don't worry about it (chuckle)
*I curb the conversation and was like yeah i'm a bit busy, call me later if you wanna catch up...

WHAT DO I DO NOW? Make her feel bad? Is she trying to make me jealous? WTF?

This sounds like something may have happend. This is my reason why i dont do long distance. A relation over the phone isnt a real one, but if it rocks your boat go your game.

It doesnt sound to me as she wants to make you jealous, but it sounds like something happend. You gave her the ball to contact you, wait a bit, let her talk but man long distance shouldnt float your boat.

it's long distance ..... make plans moving to her and settle there or just have a semi platonic weird relationship with her.

anyway you have to invest alot of time in these kind of relationships and often your investing way too much .... il prefer a girl close to me because it makes everything easier .. but hey that's me

i see your point. but how do i "play it cool," selectively take her calls? be brief? or what?

Its not that long distance doesnt work but it often does not work If you have not built a strong bond with the person first and the fact that you live about 45hr away from each other lol and not and hour or two makes things that much harder!

It could still work but how much do you like her? really think hard! is it lust? are you infatuated with this girl? or do you love her...and my guess is you dont.

There are alot of women out there man! alot! dont waste your time if your just gunna have a broken heart in the end...how often will you see this girl?

I definitely got to agree with dark one. I've been in a few long distance relationships and they all crashed and burned. The spark went out after a week or so. She would get bored, I would get bored. It's all just a hassle in my book, especially since most of the time you aren't able to see her and spend a lot of time with her.

So unless you really think it'll work out I think it would be best if you just ended it. There's PLENTY of girls out there, go find a better one!
