I've been dating this girl now for about (almost 2 months). We have known each other for about 5 months now, however. I have been doing a good job of keeping up my game and not changing much (busting her balls, cocky+funny, teasing and keeping sexual tension). However... tonight... she threw shit my way that I was not at all ready for. First off she was acting all weird when I picked her up from work - like overly happy and she was messing around a lot.. which I engaged i and we messed around playfully for a while. We got to her place, and she was setting up a movie for us to watch, I playfully slapped her ass - and she said "ouch that hurt" - and in a playful way I replied "oh get over it" and smiled at her.
Then she started kinda getting butt hurt over little things all night - and I didn't let them pass my radar.. just didn't react to them. Then she pinched my arm in a playful way as we were cuddling - and I playfully hit her back (lightly - not abusive status here lol). She came back with "don't hit me". And I ALWAYS play around with her, spank her, give her little pinches, and she usually does the same (bites my ass and such lol). But she was serious. She said it was because she didn't want her "parents to see me "hitting" her".... umm ok?? It wasn't even a "hit" but alright. So I just kinda backed away from her and was like "uh ok".
Anyhow it was getting late, so I say I should get going and she said no - the movie is almost over - so I stayed.. then her mom came down and said it was late - so I suggested again that I leave... and she snapped at me and said "fine, just go if you really want to". Then begged me to stay. So I did the stupid thing and.. stayed. =/
Anyhow - after the movie she walked me out to my car and I ran my fingers through her hair - (which I usually do.. and sometimes it snags her hair on accident.. but we laugh bout it.).. well she said "ouch that fucking hurt" and acted all butthurt about it and covered herself with the blanket she was wearing. I told her "I think I need to leave - this isn't working out for me tonight". I kissed her and left - telling her to txt me if she wants to.
I think I handled it OK... but why would she suddenly switch moods like this??? Whatis she trying to do??

I would only worry about it if her attitude if it were to start to consistently get like that.
Since you've been dating for 5 months that is when a girl starts to get real comfortable with you and these types of nights will be more common than you think. I have been in a 4 year relationship and 7 month one and figured how to just brush these off as off nights (kind of like if Kobe were to only put up 10 points one night...you only suspect something is wrong with him if he does it say 4-5 games in a row). don't even mention it to her next time you see her by saying shit like "hey that was weird last night...is everything okay?" just act like nothing happened and if she continues to be a pest then you ask if everything's okay

We have actually only been dating 2 months (known eachother for 5 but not dating for 5). But I'm sure it's the same. I appreciate the advice! Thank you.. and yeah - I actually think that "time of the month" is coming up soonish lol. - might have somethin to do with it, good point.

D4 you seem to know your stuff, just needed an outside set of eye balls to help you out...i'm sort of in a similar situation (where i just need an outside set of eyes to objectively gauge my situation), you mind telling me what you think about mine? >> how-do-i-navigate-this-situation-vt53021.html
