This is the first good relationship that I really want to be in. I really like her and when I asked her out it was probably the best time of my life under 4th of July fireworks. It's only been a couple days but that transition from friends to girlfriend and boyfriend is killing me.

Everyone tells me that it takes time to get the know the other person. That's probably right bug no one gives anything to help out.

How do you guys manage to ease that early relationship akwardness and the best ways to actually get to know the girl?

Just do fun activities with her, involve romance too. Girls love that. Be creative.

Go cloud watching! Go for a walk in the park, Go DO SOMETHING. Just make everything a fun little adventure, and this stuff can be what you personally want to do too.

A lot of my guy friends dont want things with me that I find enjoyable, and a lot of it i end up doing with my gf. I really like tossin the frisbee in the park with my smurfette, etc.

Go to the supermarket, make dinner together, walk to work, anything you normally do. easiest transistion from date to relationship is doing things you normally would do.. but then together.
