So I'm working at a summer camp where all of the staff live on site. There's an HB 6 going around telling everyone that we're dating or that we're hooking up (which is complete bull). Now I'm afraid she is scaring off all of the potential targets. Is she just an attention hungry bitch who wants my nuts? I confronted her today about the situation and i think she's going to stop. Does anyone have any tips on how I can rebuild my reputation and still score with all the potential that's here?

As far as what to do, I suggest speaking individually to each of your potential targets. Tell each target that you have been hearing some rumors behind your back and you want to know what people are saying about you. She should tell you whatever she's been hearing.

Then simply correct her on what she's heard, and explain what really happened.

The best way to kill a lie is with the truth. Whatever your potential targets are, make sure that they know the truth, and you should be fine. You could use that conversation as a way to connect with your targets on another level- most girls have been the victim of vicious girl talk at some point, so she should identify with you.

if this girls does that sorta thing, people probably realized she's weird and might be a compulsive liar about those sorts of things. in that case you don't have to go so crazy setting the record straight.

if this is the case, just let her talk, and be completely unreactive to her. if someone brings it up, just be like "what? really? haha thats funny!"
