It's been almost a year since my break up and i just ended NC with my ex yesterday. We texted for a little and she replied positively until she brought up the subject of me flirting with another girl through social media. I figured it was a sign that she may still be interested if she's getting jealous so i didn't really try to talk about it and changed the subject. The convo went downhill from there and I ended up DLV. My question is how the hell do i restart this, how often should i text her, and how do i get her to want to meet up this summer when we both get home from college?

She tells me there is no point to talking, but continuously replies to my texts with interest every time i initiate. She also has told me she will never get back with me and that she doesn't think i will ever change. I went no contact for 3 weeks and she didn't reach out. I asked her if she would have reached out if I didn't contact her and she said she's not sure. Is it true that you have to pretend like your restarting with a new person in order to get your ex back? I don't want a relationship with her, I just want to hook up and hang out this summer.

FYI she broke up with me and it ended on a bad note where i was very needy.

You're not over the attachment. As the guy above said, move on. Once the attachment is broken you may be able to build something with her, but at that point u'll probably be open to starting something fresh and new with someone else. Until then you're just coming out of a scarcity frame.
