ok I met someone online a month ago and we have been on about four dates, so far we have a good time together, but I haven't yet slept with her because she is on her period. It is her birthday next week and she invited me to a party where her brother and his family will be there. is it logically too soon to meet her family when I haven't even slept with her? I personally would like to meet her brother because it would be pushing me out of my comfort zone.

It's not the same situation as if she was taking you to something just to meet her brother and his family. Its not like she is inviting you to dinner with her brother so you can meet him. Its a bday party, and her brother will be there. Personally, if I'd go to her bday party at this point, I'd just go...its not a big deal.

I dated a chick who lived across the st from her parents. On the 2nd date I was at her place and her dad stopped by to fix something. So i met the dad, 2 dates in. It was simple, chit chat and that was it. It wasn't like actually "meeting" the dad, and when things got more serious, then I met the parents at dinner. If you see it as a big deal, you'll make it one. If you see it just as a party and her brother is just like anyone else there it wouldnt be.
