I've been looking through the relationship threads for some help w/ my current situation, but there's a lot of threads to comb through.

Basically I haven't heard from my girl in 2 days... Which is unusual because we've pretty much spoken to each other every day since we went official last Sunday. Our last convo ended like this:

11:30-11:40pm July 15th
Me: Still holding ur lil cuz? (her aunt just had a baby boy)
Her: No I put him down but I'm bout to go to sleep now but I'll text u in the morning. ..nite babe
Me: Nite hun. Sweet dreams, "of me"
Her: Same to u (pet name here)

10:30pm July 16th
Me: Hey babe, how was your day?
(no response from her)

And I haven't heard anything since 2 days ago... My friend saw her at work yesterday, so I know she's not like hurt or anything. I wanna convo w/ her, but I'm not trying to emit AFC behaviors... Just wondering wtf... We r supposed to go out tomorrow evening so I'll need to talk to her b4 then. Should I wait for her to contact me considering the 3-day contact initiation rule may apply here, or should I man up and try to contact her again tonight? And if I do attempt to contact her, what kind of opener would be advised? I feel like just contacting her via text and instead of asking why she was mia, just ignoring the fact that we haven't talked and just starting a normal convo.

Text her and tell her to go out and meet up with you. Two days and you've not seen your girlfriend? What kind of relationship is that?

We both work at different times. We get a chance to see each other twice a week. Usually it's her sending the messages implicating that she wants me to think about her. I try to mix it up and reciprocate those messages once in a while.

Anywho, it's my first relationship and I hv no clue wtf to expect. Hooking up w/ random chicks and fuck buddies has never been a problem for me, but changing the game is a bit mind boggling.

Two days ain't nothing mate, she's just testing you a little bit...text her one more time to arrange your date, if she's cool get stuck in, but if she's not responding then you must not contact her again until she contacts you.

When they go cold you go cold/when they go hot you may turn it on a little. Hope this helps mate
