I've been with this girl for about a month after doing the single thing for about 7.
Let me jump into it.
I feel as though she is starting to see me as sympathetic and slightly beta.
She is young (20) and I'm 23. Strongest connection I've felt with someone in a short time (I've been in 3 and 4 year relationships before and they don't compare to this) and plan on keeping this up.
For about a week now we have been talking on the phone every night (she lives an hour away) and I feel that's starting to get old/lame. Just too much communication when it's not needed and I need help on how to grab my nuts and address that.
It's strange because we've moved so quickly, met each other's entire families, and sexually experimental more than the past relationships I had consisted of. I'm trying not to burn it out so quick. Is it natural the passion will decline? I also need to become more affirmative with her, she seems to be testing me more and more, but maybe I am wrong.
Any thoughts?
Chill out. Think about what things you did when you were single. And go back and do those things. The passion declines when you lose yourself in the relationship. Which means you compromise too much just to please her. In your case
- too much communication when it's not needed - don't communicate. do your thing. speak her when you wan to not when you think you need to in order to keep the flame burning.
After a month you don't even need to communicate on a daily basis, maybe the odd text to see if she is alive. 2-3 dates a week maximum. Otherwise it will show that you don't have a life beside her.
