Seems like this is what always happen. Nothing you can do. I'd say they are more unpredictable than you can be, and never satisfied for long enough. Girlfriends are high-maintanance. Yes, always those games, they never stop. You fail few of them, you buy what she says she wants from you or from men(when in reality she means/is the opposite), those little shit tests, and for every one you will be deeper into rabbit hole cca month later. All your weaknesses are going to be used against you, though she'll swear you can share everything with her, which is a mistake. The more of those, the sooner she will exit a relationship, step by step over your failures, and every moment of weakness in your game won't be forgotten.

I'm still navigating through this, but I find it harder and harder.

The closest behaviour to "love" is when you act above her and the phase when she chases you, but in longer relationships it gets tiresome as well. She will never love you the way you conceptualize it, there is no such thing.

And she is not different than typical average girl, its just as I described it above.
