I've known my girlfriend for 2 months now, and we have been dating for one. She is not conventally "hot", just petite and cute. I feel like I maybe too kissy with her, and telling her I think she is adorable too often. She returns those compliments. Just wondering how too read and pace that. Also she has asked me what I like about her. How do you respond to that without saying things that are typical?

Giving your girlfriend compliments is actually a good thing, as this is part of what makes her feel good being around you. Just make sure you dont accompany your compliments with validation-seeking or needy behaviour. So basically, you compliment her because you feel like it, and not because you want her to compliment you in return. But yes it might be a wise idea not to over-do it, as it might overwhelm her.

As for her question why do you like her, just tell her the truth. If you wanted her to be your girlfriend, there must be a reason you chose her specifically. Unless you came from complete scarcity where you just took what was offered to you because you had no other option, but I am assuming this is not the case here. A good time to give compliments to a girl is before and after sex. I read somewhere that girls feel vulernable about their body when they are naked in front of you. So compliment her body, or how hot you find her naked, or anything in that direction.
