Recently through events out of my control which consisted of her parents finding out that she was staying at mine and grounding her even though she's 2 months off 18 and refusing to let her have any means of contact with me.
I should also add I live a 1/2 hour drive away and have a full time, 5 days a week and sometimes weekend job and I run a business. I am 19.
So the already small window I got to see her was pretty much destroyed when this happened and we both mutually agreed through my initiation that it was in our best interest for us to take a break while she talked with her parents to sort out the whole situation.
It was in this time she was constantly contacting me and I was respecting her parents wishes and keeping contact to a minimum until she talked it out with her parents. 3 weeks later she still hadn't talked with her parents and had started talking to my friends about interesting other guys and taking up habits which she had frowned upon me doing like smoking and drinking.
Recently a mate of mine had a bad falling out with me due to his obsession with my ex and I told him me and her were over but it would be a dog move for him to try after 3 weeks. So he told her I cheated on her in my relationship with another girl.
I have the strictest of codes when I date someone that I respect them and keep to one at a time which she knew full well. So as of the past week she has non stop messages all my friends and work colleagues about how she dumped me because I was an abusive boyfriend and how I cheat on her and I talk shit about her to everyone.
I haven't talked about her but the last thing I said was to move on because she clearly wasn't interested in continuing the relationship. She is still talking poison to my friends and I constantly get people every day asking why this and what happened with her and me, which I don't really want to keep having to answer and set straight all this venomous speech.
What should I do? I've moved on and stopped talking to her. I've started talking to other girls now and just having as much fun as possible while focusing on the pick up artist game.
The poison still is there and she constantly messages my friends. Anything I should do?

If your friends/acquaintances ask you about why you broke up, just say "we're in a different place right now and it was for the best". That sounds like a bunch of horseshit and that's the point. Who says that about an ex-GF? A guy that is:
- discreet (there's private info about her in that empty phrase)
- the one who did the leaving (he who has been dumped is bitter)
- cool about it
That's the best way to answer questions, if any. If someone is particularly pushy, you can go with this (works like a charm, have tried it recently) "If you had just broken up with your BF/GF, would you appreciate them talking about the private things that went on in the relationship?"... this puts them in their place on the spot...
Good luck!
