I have just come out of a 4 week relationship with a gold digger.

This has toughened me up a bit, due to exposure to the wrong sort of woman in my life.
It also taught me not to get fooled by appearences.
Outwards she seemed a very nice girl, however:

She seemed to talk about money a bit too much.
She had plenty of reasons never to spend money herself.
Due to reading up a lot on body language I could sense something was off.
Whenever I saw her, she always seemed in need of money.
If I went round hers, we could never have a simple meal, I always had to order something.
She was very manipulative, however I was on to her game, due to my own knowledge of "game".
She never actually seemed interested in me and my life. SHe didnt try to build any sort of connection herself.

Thing was she was a single mother and unemployed (lesson learnt). However she mistook my genuine kindness towards her as weakness. Alarm bels were slowly starting to ring in my head, so I put my foot down. Then she ended it, by this point I was ready to have the chat with her anyway and end it myself, she just beat me too it.

Also if your wondering why I went with a single mother, well like David says "Attraction is not an option".

However Im not sure what she expected, if she expected me to get all annoyed or to go round begging and apologising for my own existence. However I just agreed with her and supported her decision. Then she started begging for me to come back.

What I learnt from this is that gold diggers really do exist. You dont have to be a millionare to attract them. This experience has also given me a true sense of my own self worth as I believe I am worth more than that. Also I now understand that I have to have a clear idea of the qualities I want in a woman.

Total cost of lesson £300 - £400. In the short term Im a bit out of pocket. In the long term Im a much wiser man.

your lucky you got out after 4 weeks. never spend too much on women unless shes the one and even then don't overdo it.

if shes in it for you then she will stick around and if not your lucky she disappears and pity the fool who rolls in to support her lol

Good job man.. you learned a good lesson. Man I dealt with women and even friends that are men who took my kindness for weakness... always trying to borrow money, or always wanting to partner up and I ended up doing all the work.

It's good to release toxic ppl from your life. It's a new beginning for you.
