Its kind of funny because I finally got a girlfriend (my first) and of course with my luck, just a month and a half into this relationship everything goes downward I swore I wouldnt have to post here any more.

So my girlfriend worked as a stay at home baby sitter. She got fired today totally and was given 24 hours to leave. She is back in NYC, originally from Texas and has very little support in the city and doesnt have enough money to do much. What is worse on my end is that I am in school away from the city and dont really have any access to anything that could really help her (my parents have been generous to put her up for a bit, but they havent even met her).

The safest option is for her to go back to Texas but the distance problem (plus her own concerns). The other option is for her to find work and stay in NYC but I worry like hell about her.

This is absolutely driving me nuts. Have never felt this helpless ever
