Hey guys,
I've gotten some really good advice from the guys on this forum so before i start, kudos
So this girl i've been seeing and am really close to recently had family issues. The thing is her dad is over protective but he let me date his daughter because he likes me as a person. Recently though he uncovered her past with her past boyfriends and i guess he wasn't too impressed because now she's in a serious hole and her dad won't let her talk to anyone. Yikes! over protective relationships are a drag
Anyway the point is now she can't talk to me for a good month or two, we can't see each other and she can't text or message me either. I know i like this girl and i want to wait it out but truth be told i have absolutely no patience and many times throughout the day i find myself missing her. Keep in mind how bad that sounds, because at this very moment i have no idea what she's doing/feeling/missing about me.
I fill the time space with talking to tons of more people to get my mind of her but then when i'm alone i find myself thinking about her and get a gut-wrenching feeling cause this could very easily scrap our relationship all together
Do you guys have any tips on how you can stop thinking about the girl you love for months? I know it sounds absurd but i do like this chick. I'm also considering just asking one of her gf's to ask her straight up whether or not i'll be talking to her again, but does that sound needy?
any help would be appreciated guys
