My ex girlfriend who I dated for over a year broke up with me about two months ago, because she apparantly found someone else. She wanted to break up with no more contact, being a bit aggrivated by what happened I gladly complied and didn't talk to her anymore.

Yesterday she suddenly texted me and the text said: "Confession time: I miss you".

I've been thinking about how to give her a proper response which says that I miss her a bit as well, but that I am doing fine without her. I want to give her a more neutral response. I don't want to boost her ego by saying I miss you too, but I don't want to just blow her off and tell her to piss off.

Don't reply. Here's what happened: She got involved with the other dude, he dumped her and now she's single / bored and in need of attention. Or she is still seeing someone but wants you to stay single without her. Remember women need constant attention. If you reply, you are rewarding her bad behaviour.

She treated you like shit. A neutral response is still a reward for her.

Next her. Or bang her and next. Either way not girlfriend material.

This minus the bang her part. She suddenly realized the world is cold and now wants that warmth from the blanket she peed on.
