The girl I've been with for about 2 months with keeps calling me cute and gorgreous. I don't like it at all, but was ignoring it or just saying "thank you" or "you are cute too". But I really like to end her saying that. What would be the best strategy to do that?

Today it was especially annoying when she texted me - "you are the cutest thing i ever had".

It's annoying! I feel you man. I deal with that shit to. Just forget about it and don't respond to it. I told her to knock it off and she was quite offended. I guess I understand her point to. I'd just smile and roll with the punches. That's what I do now. The longer we've dated the excessive compliments have gotten less and less. She's just wrapped around your finger.

I just told her not tell I am cute and gorgeous. She was a little bit upset for a few minutes, but then she was ok and she started to call me handsome and sexy. It seems to work. And I feel 100% she is on love with me.

Seriously this is one of the lamest things I've read on this board. To make issue of something so innocuous I imagine it'll only be a matter of time before you give her more reason to dump you, unless she's ridiculously insecure.

Pretty cool that she adapted herself to your needs :)

I also get a bit of an itch when called cute. I told her I interpreted "cute" as being some helpless duckling.

She told me it was just a form of perfection for her.
