It's not beta to admit you like a girl if you're in a relationship with her. Yeah, fawning all over her is not a good idea, and she shouldn't need to hear "I love you" every day, but everybody needs to hear it once in awhile. How much you would like her if she never told you anything nice like that? My guess is sooner or later you'd lose interest or post on here saying she doesn't chase you enough, etc like lots of guys do. If you like her, show her or tell her your own way. Likewise, if she's asking for too much validation for your tastes, then tell her that too.
