Hey guys and possible gals,
So recently my girlfriend(been seeing for a month) been telling me things like:
FYI, we work together.
Her 'This guy at work is trying to flirt with me.'
Me 'Want me to talk to him?'
Her 'No, I'm a big girl I could handle it.'
Or
Her 'he gets really close when he come by'
me 'Want me to talk to him?'
Her 'What are you going to say?'
me 'dude, back off my girl.'
Her 'That's ok, I could handle it. Thanks.'
Another time she told me a guy took advantage of her when she was drunk(roughly 2 months ago). She saw him at the bar last weekend and he try to buy her drinks. She told me she left with her friend right away. Conversation went something like this.
Her 'You should come beat up this guy back home for me'
Me 'How come?'
Her 'he try taking advantage of me again.'
Me 'Again? When?'
Her 'Ya, he took advantage of me when I was drunk two months ago.'
Me 'Don't worry, I'll kungfu his ass if I see him, cause I'll protect you *Bear hug her*'
My question is,
Do girls tell you these things expecting you to help or 'do something'? Or they want you to listen and be supportive?
I read an article about guys trying to solve all their girls' problem and forget to listen. Which is why I'm in a conundrum.
Thanks.
Quit being a simp.
