yes. she calls everyone dude. this is normal.
the rest of the convo makes me very mad at her..

EDIT: I am very inclined to ignore her when/if she calls or texts again.
Since we are supposed to hang out tonight, I will go to her place, and if she tries to tell me anything about it, I will tell her "you have had your trusted friend to talk with about this. now forget it and let's just have fun" and shut her off.

how the story ended

I had posted "whatever" on my Facebook. she read it and texted me saying if everything was good and that she felt better and was happy that we were hanging out tonight. then ten minutes later she texted again saying she had re-read her previous texts and realized it sounded bad and she was sorry and did not mean to be rude.
so when I arrived at her house, my task was relatively simple.. she apologized for that and I said "yes it was bad. it looked like you did not care about me being there to help you and put me aside like a used toy. it was not good. but since you know it, and you understand it was bad, I know you won't do it again, and that saves me from giving you a boring lecture". and she agreed. she said she felt bad for hurting me, and I was like "ok you did, but you know it, so stop being sad and let's go out and have fun. it's good you know so you will do better next time, and that's it. no need to be in bed crying."
so, issue solved with very minor damage.
