Girlfriend and I just broke up... Both completely in love with each other but we are in LDR for nearly a year now and we thought we'd both be living in London by now but were not.

Anyway she still wants to see me and said that maybe we could get back together one day if we stay friends...

Anyway got any tips of what I can do to basically win this break up and make her miss me...

Ugh.. this is totally the wrong attitude to take. You do not WIN breakups. You're already coming off as outcome dependent. However, if you want to revive the relationship then you need to show her you've gained social value and rekindle her attraction.

First, you need to cut contact for awhile, see some other girls, and develop a solid social life. Then, a few months down the line you should call her up out of the blue and invite her someplace fun, where you have a lot of social proof.

The other option is to immediately start dating another girl, and start ignoring your ex's texts / calls (you know, cause you're too busy having fun with your new girlfriend). Girls HATE that.

I've field tested both methods and they have both worked well for me.

In the same situation but mine was from my mistake. But either way it's hard to choose between staying friends trying to get her back or cutting contact. But I think if you can manage it, it's better to cut contact and reintiate. Though that comes with a risk of losing her.
