I read the topic.

And I meant what I said. I meant if the OP can prove himself to her and show that he is trustworthy. He could make himself a better choice for her than the other guy.

Personally, I wouldn't bother with a dead relationship anyways.

I was trying to offer the best advice I could.

It is obvious that he is barking at the wrong tree.

From the beginning, I just wanted to say let go, so I take my "bad" advice back.
